Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. reports its May 2024 operational results:
- Grupo Aeromexico transported 2 million and 182 thousand passengers in May 2024, a 9.6% year-on-year increase. International passengers increased by 21.2%, while domestic passengers increased by 5.3%.
- Aeromexico’s total capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASKs), increased by 12.2% year-on-year. International ASKs increased by 16.6%, while domestic capacity increased by 4.5% year-on-year.
- Demand, measured in passenger-kilometers (RPKs), increased by 16.1% year-on-year. International demand increased by 21.8%, while domestic demand increased by 6.2%, both figures with respect to May 2023.
- Aeromexico’s May 2024 load factor was 86.9%, a 3.0 p.p. increase as compared to May 2023. International load factor increased by 3.8 p.p. and domestic load factor increased by 1.3 p.p.
