Port Canaveral Welcomes Caribbean Princess for Inaugural Season of Cruises

The Caribbean Princess cruise ship has docked in Port Canaveral, Florida, marking the start of its inaugural season of Caribbean cruises from this port. The ship began with a four-day Thanksgiving cruise to Turks & Caicos.

In a gesture of goodwill, Princess Cruises donated two tons of non-perishable food to The Sharing Center of Central Brevard to aid local families.

President of Princess Cruises, John Padgett praised Port Canaveral for its outstanding facilities and accessibility for guests. The cruise line’s inaugural season from this port will include 19 additional departures to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, with journeys ranging from six to eight days.

The cruise line’s president also highlighted their Rail & Sail program with Brightline as an additional guest convenience.

Captain John Murray, Port Canaveral CEO, expressed his excitement in welcoming the Caribbean Princess, emphasizing the vessel’s stunning decor and innovative technology as key features.

The Caribbean Princess can accommodate 3,140 guests and offers a variety of staterooms, including family-friendly interconnecting rooms. Amenities include a Youth & Teen Center, outdoor cinema, Broadway-style shows, and an adults-only relaxation area.

Inclusive packages are available to provide savings on popular amenities, and the ship features Princess Cruises’ MedallionClass technology for a personalized, premium service.

The Royal-Class Sky Princess is scheduled to sail from Port Canaveral for the 2025-2026 winter season. Additional information about Princess Cruises can be obtained through a professional travel advisor or by visiting the company’s website.
