The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) have announced the theme for the PATA Annual Summit 2025, “Timeless Wisdom for a Sustainable Future”. The event will explore timeless principles influencing culture, community, and conservation, allowing industry leaders to discuss challenges and opportunities.
The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) recently revealed the theme for the PATA Annual Summit 2025, “Timeless Wisdom for a Sustainable Future”. Scheduled from April 21-23, 2025, at the CVK Park Bosphorus Hotel in Istanbul, the summit will explore timeless principles that have shaped perspectives on culture, community, and conservation.
PATA CEO Noor Ahmad Hamid said the summit provides a platform for global dialogue and fosters discussions that drive the evolution of the tourism industry. The event aims to inspire collaboration and innovation in tourism development while underscoring TGA’s mission of preserving Türkiye’s rich heritage while progressing towards a sustainable future.
Acting General Manager of TGA, Sinan Seha Türkseven, expressed his enthusiasm about hosting the summit, which he said would focus on cultural heritage and sustainability. He emphasized Türkiye’s responsibility to safeguard its rich cultural heritage, including 21 ancient sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List and 31 cultural values on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
In line with the summit theme, the event will feature the PATA Executive Board meetings, a one-and-a-half-day conference, and plenty of networking opportunities. A range of curated destination experiences organized by TGA will also be part of the event. Delegates can participate in immersive off-site destination experiences and half-day tours exploring Istanbul’s iconic attractions.
Turkish Airlines, the Official Airline Partner for the event, will offer exclusive flight ticket discounts to delegates. Early bird registration for the summit is available until February 17, 2025.
The PATA Annual Summit 2025 aims to be a carbon-neutral event and encourages delegates to contribute to global sustainability efforts. The event will also feature the Kind Heart CSR Programme, which encourages delegates to donate books for children, with donations distributed to a local beneficiary to be announced closer to the event.
